We install your roof with a flat copper seam, two copper roof panels which are hand-crimped together, then flattened to the roof and later are soldered at the seam. This prevents any water from entering your house. On our copper porch roofing systems, we build sections of decking that are placed on top of the copper roof. They are light enough to pick up and move for any reason, but are heavy enough so that you won't have to worry about deck sections moving around when people walk on them.
